Verizon Business is providing a robust managed hosting environment that meets the growing demand for supply chain asset tracking, visibility and up-to-the-minute information for shipping and transportation companies. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Backed by Verizon Business’ IT Solutions Hosting services, Power2Ship’s secure wireless Internet-based application system enables freight operators to track the movement of any number of trucks around the country, as well as containers entering the nation’s ports from around the world. As a result, Power2Ship can more efficiently meet its customers’ demands for real-time information on shipping transactions, while helping to safeguard the nation’s transportation systems.
