Road Ready from Clarience Technologies is participating in a program with Penske Truck Leasing and Penske Logistics to evaluate the Road Ready trailer telematics system.
Launched in 2017, Road Ready by Truck-Lite offers fleets an overview of a trailer’s environment, both inside and out, using a variety of customizable wireless sensors. According to the company, long-life batteries allow Road Ready hardware to gather reports on untethered trailers, and the user interface displays trailer location and condition in real time on any device with an internet connection.

Since March 2018, Road Ready has provided Master Control Units and cargo sensors to both Penske Truck Leasing and Penske Logistics. Most recently, Penske Truck Leasing agreed to pilot Road Ready’s exclusive SmartBridge Integrator onto select trailers to integrate their tire pressure and wheel-end temperature systems into the Road Ready system.
The Smart Bridge Integrator bridges OE trailer products and systems with Road Ready by broadcasting data to the cloud for review on Road Ready’s website or a fleet’s own dispatching software system.
